first I would like to say
WALMART palnt section

It makes me insane.
poor lighting, to hot ~ to cold, employees who are clueless and dont give a ripe fig if the plants have water, pests or disease.
Pale leaves, washed out flowers, dead branches are Normal for the store.
I have the same issues with the Chain Super Markets around our area.
sell sell sell.
The Plant your showing looks like the Clivia that I have. pretty foliage and stunning yellow flowers.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on a Blue yet.
seems yellow is popular for our area.
Up here in the cold we bring them inside to winter over, last year I lost track of where it was and hubby did the normal bury the flower garden in rabbit cleanings.
This mid spring there was something green poking out of the garden and I was a bit more than baffled as to what it could be.
never given a thought to the misplaced Clivia plant.
I waited it out and watched it grow up out of the now composted soil and low and behold it was my errant Clivia.
It had leaves that were paler than normal and came up in the same fanning as posted , thinking it had something to do with the poor lighting or from over fertilizing? but went on to produce a beautiful cluster of flowers.
I told my husband just before our first frost to bury it deep in the rabbit cleanings again this year, I wanted to see if it was a fluke or will it survived the -20 we sometimes get again this year. if it does I will be sure to get pictures this time.
