Tansy

Has anyone ever used Tansy in their garden to keep away squash bug? I saw it advertised in a seed catalogue and and wondered if it worked.

I have a bunch of tansy that was in my flowerbeds when I moved here and I've been trying to kill it for some time now! Didn't know that it could be used in companion planting though.

Sounds like it might not be worth it if it is so invasive... I still regret planting morning glories. What was I thinking!

I think it was one of the herbs that were used indoors in medieval times to strew on the floor to keep the flee population under control.
