Social networking addiction being what it is today, you should practice up on texting, Sam.

Once you are well involved in it, you'll need to know an acronym not on that list: BRB

Now everyone says that it means Be Right Back. However, the addict also knows it is just a polite way of saying that he needs a BRB, a Bath Room Break. It's like referring to it as a bath room (for a bath?) or a rest room (to rest?).

Yes, he should have an accurate acronym list once he has become addicted to social networking. Rushing online after a BRB, he will always need to remember - CYA. Yep, there he will be, in the Company of Young Artists ...

I love texting, it is so convenient. But my smart phone spells out the words when I start typing them, so no need for acronyms.

I must not be TOO old--none of those apply---YET!
