My SS goes up $830 a month if I wait from 66/2 months to age 70. That's a lot of money! Now if I'd lose my extra 40 lbs, along with my long lived genes, I'll more than make age 70.

@murphysranch Remember you can collect and continue to work if you so choose. Take the $$ and put in a private fund, how much per year would that amount to?

So if I take SS at 66 and 2 months, a little over $2700 a month, how much can I make without penalty? I've gotta go back to work given my situation. I'm 63 and 9/12ths. So I have a ways to go....

I just bought a used set of bedroom furniture off of CL for the bonus room here, so I can take in a renter. That will help as long as the renter and I get along.
