These have decimated my garden!!

I have been getting this amount and more from a two foot square area in almost any spot in my garden.

Are they in the soil? If so, Try milky spore before it gets too cold. I have some-they mainly ruin grass but milky spore controls them for a long time. I don't see them damage crops in the veggie garden-just grass. Chickens love them.

I second the Milky Spore suggestion. Spread while they are still feeding, the product is grub specific and will kill only the grubs. Each dead grub will spread more Milky Spore out from where you spread it. It should continue to kill grubs for up to 7 years or until all the grubs in that area are history and there are no new grubs to die and spread the spores any longer.

Because if you don't get rid of them, they will attract more moles, and the beetles they turn into will eat your plants next summer. Talk about a conspiracy!

Ewww... At least the chickens are getting something out of it! We had to treat our yard for them last year too. We had 100's of June beetles swarming in the front yard (and only the front yard, oddly enough) as they emerged. Otherwise we wouldn't have known they were there.

Skunks will come and eat them too. You will see little round whorls in your yard from the skunks.
