I take it out every spring and it returns each year. I have no skin reaction to touching it but I have not tasted any of it yet.

What do you think it is?

Pic #1 The largest leaves are about 3" long x 1" wide at this time.

Pic #2 Top surface of leaves. This camera shot gives the impression that the leave top surface looks like the under surface of most plants but this is not so. The under surface is slightly lighter green. I have never allowed this plant to flower or go to seed so I do not know what it looks like in bloom.

Pic #3 Smooth six-ribbed (almost round) stalk, opposing branches with (what looks like) suckers.

please be careful tasting any plants you do not know what they are yet! there are some plants that may look like a common veggie relative that can be very harmful if you eat them raw! someone in our area a few years ago ate a type of wild carrot and got severely sick and died because he didn't know he had to cook it first to get out the toxins!

I think its some kind of weed to me. Not sure what its called.

Now... I can't compare the size of those leaves to mine, but I get a TON of those invasive suckers... but after awhile they begin to vine and over take my trees. Then they bloom!

Evil trumpet vine is what we call it... but I can't tell if its the same. Similar leaves, but our leaves are very small. :/
