Today is Endangered Species Day.
A suggestion of a way to celebrate is to find a suitable sidewalk and use your colored chalk to create an image of a favorite endangered species.
An example: I believe that all Sage Grouse in North American are now considered "threatened" with a species in Colorado and Utah seen as endangered with extinction. I wasn't aware of this concern until recently.
