Tomato Blight Update from Rodale News

. . . I do believe now after some research it is not blight though, but mildew . . .
You can see both mildew and the 2 types of blight here: Tomato Disease Identification, Cornell.

We have what I identify as Early Blight here, now and then. I've had plants that were obviously resistant just keep right on going while those that were susceptible, cashed in their chips.

I'm convinced its some kind of mold on the leaves and not blight. I am still removing the leaves as me speak. Not much if any visual damage to the stems. I had early blight last year and got it somewhat under control.

This year, its not all my tomatoes showing signs... just 4 plants... 2 are near other plants that show no signs, but I went ahead and pretreated anyways.

Neem oil for right now... then a mix of milk and water starting next week if I don't see it clear up on the infected plants. But so far it doesn't look so bad. The tomatoes are ripening soft and mushy on 1 plant though :( If the fungi clears up, with the tomatoes ripen correctly?

I did a lot of destroying things today... I'm not a happy camper! :/
