I usually put the old whale carcass in the compost pile, but I decided to see if Zoop and the Chickens would like to have a go at it.

Here is Zoop eating a Whale!!

I save all my melon rinds for the chickens. I like to put them in the fridge then give it to them in the hot afternoon. Really cools them off!

So....did the chickens have to wait for Zoop to finish? :gig
I decapitated the whale and gave the head to the chickens. It had more "meat" in it. They liked it. I gave them what Zoop didn't eat, but I noticed this morning they didn't really touch it.

My chickens are very picky eaters!! They shun the commercial feed, and only seem to like the weeds and fun things I give them. They are still alive and laying so I guess they are getting enough to eat!
