Tractor Supply Loan Sharks

Here ridge all gas station have 2 prices, one for cash one for credit. Gas bought with credit card is about 10 cents a gallon more
I saw Shell stations do that in Arkansas, though the difference was usually a nickel, not a dime. It seems to be at the discretion of the station owner as some Shell stations would do that but not others. Most of the time they'd have "cash" written on their price sign but not always. And when it was it was not always big letters. Up there I hardy ever used Shell.

Every gas station does it here top price is cash bottom price credit. I don't take credit cards because they take out a % sorry I work to hard to just give away a portain of what I make.

My Shell does 5 cents off for cash. I no longer fill up often, so don't carry cash for it anymore.

TSC has lots of internal issues, my local store is a hot mess and I quit almost as soon as I started. Besides being filthy, managers don't let you go to the bathroom, don't order what you requested a million times and then sells it out from under you and don't call to let you know it arrived, district manager threatens to withhold checks for not selling the worthless CCs no one wants.

I like to use american express I have to pay whole bill every month plus get points. Once when i called Amex lady said I notice you have a lot of points why don't you use them, i said I dont need more junk, then she told me I could use them to pay bill. I got a $500 credits on bill.

It is NOT the cards, it is the person who uses them. DH has terrific credit bc he monitors ALL of our purchases by CC. We have 3 business cards and are able to write off certain purchases bc we both run a C-3, so I use my card for lunches/dinners on the day of closings, and many home needs, tp, paper towels, Dawn--pretty much everything that we used to write off when the (previous) law office had a kitchen and RR's. Since I journal I also record all notarized documents and I seem to get them at my home every year, thus justifying my home office, besides the cost office machines, etc.
We know a couple, 2 kids, canNOT buy a home, continue to rent after 12 years. Every other time I talk to them they have money troubles. Every OTHER time I talk to them they are taking a vacation, or buying something they want. It is interesting that their best friends are MUCH wealthier and very frugal, with a beater car AND a nice one, vacations in other states are with family, and not very often.
A fool and his money are soon parted.
