A while back I asked prayer for my brother, who had been in a rollover accident after dozing off at the wheel.

The injuries were much worse than they thought at first. My brother was complaining of still being in a lot of pain. They finally took a new set of Xrays, almost a month later! And they found he had no socket for his upper arm bone, his shoulder was shattered in many pieces, he had 8 broken ribs and two broken vertebra in his back!! So, it was off to see if he could be put back together again. They were able to find a surgeon that had done 20 reconstructions of shoulders, most Drs. do one maybe in their career. We are thankful his primary care Dr. knew of this surgeon.

I have photos on Photobucket, if anyone wants to see the Xrays and the vehicle.

It is a real miracle he is still alive. The Dr. said he had never seen such damage on a LIVING person.

Please continue to pray for his recovery.

I sure am sorry, but I'm glad that their is hope, now, with the new surgeon. How old is he? Will keep you all in my prayers.

Oh, oww. . !

I hope he gets lots of very tender hugs. :hugs

Forget the hurry, forget the damage to the car, fragile human inside . . .

Hugs for his caregivers, too. :hugs

Oh my, those pics made me cringe. Praying for his full recovery. You are right, he is a walking miracle. :hugs

Praying for a speedy recovery. The shoulder reconstruction will take the wind out of his sails for quite awhile during recovery though. One of my brothers was severly injured in a construction accident about 2 months ago, he broke 9 ribs in 17 places bruised both of his lungs and kidneys , I was there, it scared the heck out of me. He is already healing up good and has been back to work. The human body, though fragile has amazing healing abilities. Thank god he is still alive, and I hope he starts feeling better soon.

Prayers for his continuing recovery!
Our family is our greatest treasure.. glad you still have him in your life.

I am late to find this and respond. Thank the Good Lord for protecting him and providing the right Dr.s. My brother broke his neck in a simular accident. Fell asleep at the wheel and was ejected during the rollover. He is still kicking 29 years later :D
I will pray for him and his caregivers. Hugs to all. :bouquet
