Seed's right. You have to be careful with Niacin. For most folks that normal daily 100% dose is alright, but taking more than that...it opens those capillaries and has that strong effect around and in the eyes.

It also opens capillaries in the brain. These things about Niacin just about pertnear make it what should be a vitamin that should have a warning label on it.

Those hot flashes. They happen when you take too much for your body. Capillaries in your skin opened too much, too much blood there, warm, hot blood. That'll get your body out of balance.

Switch to garlic and hot peppers :) and reduce that Niacin to not more than 100% rda daily. I have a friend who used to use tons of Niacin. Does not seem to have done her any good.
