Wait 'til Spring Ahead to Complain?

I loved the extra hour sleep this am, had friends stay till 2am. I was ready to turn in at 1 but someoone found the pumkin cheese cake in freezer.

it seems too soon to be adding yet another layer of it though...

Haha! I don't think its too early...we're getting our first snow in the valley today...blah. I'm wondering when i should switch my tires to studs...i'd like to wait a few more weeks but the forecast doesn't look very good.

I promptly forgot about the time change- and found myself making lunch at 10:45!

When I first began to put on weight, it had something to do with sleep ..

. or, the lack of it.

I got this stupid idea that I could replace sleep with food.

I have friends who are "vacationing" in Anchorage. The guy has some experience in Alaska but I'm sure that it was entirely during summer months.

I was just looking at the Naval Observatory (link).

In the 2 weeks that they will be there, Anchorage will lose over an hour of daylight. Whoa!

Still, in my "glass is half empty" mood at this time of day ... we will lose 37 minutes, here. One can dress for the cold. How does one dress for the dark?
