I've become fascinated with ponds lately, and have been researching how to keep a well maintained pond w/out filters, aerators, or water pumps, because all the plants work together, using mother nature to keep the water clear and beautiful.
Yestarday I set my mind into creating a water garden. I want to add exotic lillies, and other floating plants like the water chestnut, or water lettuce. I'm also planning to add fully submerged aerating plants like Anacharis. My last category will be the oriental water lovers like the water Iris.
I'm planning to do this project when the wheather starts to cool.
Can I have some recomendations of plants, and I see pics of your water garden? Thanks!
