We Are Home

[Broke Down Ranch]

We finally got home yesterday about 5 p.m. It is good to be home. Ashley is very tired and sore from the surgery but I think she'll pull thru it - she's a tough kid

Oldest daughter had the house straightened up and she did an OK job of feeding the animals. She even was willing to take on milking! Tuesda the clouds opened up and dumped over 5" of rain. We are already saturated and water-logged so our little "wash" has turned into a river. The 9 yr old and 5 yr old like it tho but I worry about what could possibly be in the run-off. I'm paranoid, I guess....lol

Now to get back in the swing of things. I feel like we were gone for YEARS!
