B-sue walked out to the food plot(for the deer) in the back and picked some turnips and greens. So we're having some for T Day, along with a host of other goodies!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to thank The One that made it happen!

Yep, salad and potatoes. Pumpkin pie. Herbs for the salmon (it was just the two us this year :) / :( ).

Fresh sage and parsley...And best of all brussels sprouts..They can take several hard frosts.:P

Brussels sprouts, carrots, onions, leeks, fresh thyme, all of this came from the garden for Thanksgiving. I love going out into the garden to bring stuff in to cook right then. There's still chard out there, too, and beets.

I'm planning on 2 kinds of beets, round red turnips, watermelon radish, some volunteer peas, bean soup, and i might make a basil/tyfon salad! If i get the mortar and pestle, some fresh ground corn bread too!
