The flowers on my blue Morning Glory vines have an odd habit of turning a pinkish purple if the nights get below 50 degrees.

Look at this comparison from one afternoon to the next morning.,

In the afternoon,

Same flowers the next morning.

The very same sort of thing happens to me if I'm out all night in the cold, Rebbetzin. But, I think the color change is the other way around . . .

Can something serenely excite emotions? Evocative - I guess that would be the word for morning glory flowers and those colors :).

A very good job with your camera, Thank You!

Thanks for posting these fine pictures!

That is cool you noticed the color change. I thought I was going nuts after My blue Glories had turned pink also. I knew I had planted only blue at this pole yet I have pink flowers now. The temp. has been dipping into the low 40's here.
