My husband started keeping bees with a queen and 3 pounds of bees this spring. Since then he bought another queen and split off the 1st box. Then rescued bees from a barn. They have settled in nicely to there new home. So we have THREE hives and more honey then we can use ourselves Bee keeping is interesting, educational and rewarding. Good Advice in your post. THANKS

I just came across this the other day and put it in our farmer's market newsletter. When im in my garden there are few flowers but many bees. I have to watch where I put my hands. When in the big nurseries in the city there are zillions of flowers and no bees. this is why

It's my opinion that the bees are telling us that we have overpopulated spaceship Earth.
