I remember planting something here late last summer. No where this big! It might be from the mint family , at 1st I thought catmint, but the stems (square) and the leaves are smooth, blooms lavender not white. It is now over waist height. (About 4 feet.) I wonder if what I put in died and a weed stated there that I have been nuturing! (I have done stranger things. ) :gig LOL

What does it smell when you rub the leaf between your fingers?
It looks like some type of mint.

Mine is a little darker . . .

Quick, go get yourself some lemon verbena at the garden center!
