what do you plant in spring, summer, fall

i would like to plant a seasonal garden, but i am just learning what vegetables grow well in each seasons,

what do you plant in the spring?

in the summer?

in the fall?

or even in the winter?

It really depends upon your location. How mild/harsh each season is, first projected frost date and last projected frost date.

I live in E. Tenn., so this is a rough outline of the veggies I plant:

Feb. - Mar.: potatoes

Mar-Apr: brocolli, cabbages, brussels, cauliflower, most greens (lettuce, kale), radishes

May-June: (after all frosts) tomatoes, squash, zukes, cukes, corn, beans, melons, peppers, okra

July - sweet potatoes

Sept.- cool weather crops again that you can plant in Mar-Apr, plus turnip greens

This is just a really rough outline. Alot depends on the weather. For example, last year we got the potatoes in around Feb. 15th. The year before, it was closer to the end of March.
