Inm03- I saw that mushroom kit and I really wanted to get it! You'll have to let me know how they are. We love mushrooms!

You have a big list, too! Do you can?

We eat mushrooms like crazy so we thought we would give it a shot! we are trying a lot of new things this year. We usually just do tomatoes, peppers, green beans, peas, broccoli, cauliflour and squash of different kinds and cucumbers. I have tried corn and onions before but didnt have much luck so we shall see. We have the land at our new house so we are using it!! :D

I have only canned tomatoes and Jams. But I have froze brussel sprouts, and peppers of all kinds. I am planning on canning alot more this year though!

MomofDrew-that is SO COOL that you get to visit Johnny's! My dream plant vacation is to visit Plant Delight's nursery in North Carolina! :bow LOL!

This may be a stupid question, but what do you do with your beets? Do you pickle them? Eat them raw? Cook them like turnips? We never eat them. I think it gets too hot here for them, I don't know. You never see them at the markets.
