What is this flower

Where it is located, I had to have planted it there. I have another purple one in another place with a white one next to it. DS took a picture for me and said it was a delphinium and it is not. What can it be?

Well, I would say that it is in the delphinium / larkspur family.

We have native types here but, if it is in more than 1 color, it's probably not a wild species.

Maybe a closer look at the flower ...
