what plant is this?

This plant grows sporadically around my neighborhood and I just love it. I want to put some around my bird bath. It may even be a weed but it is so bright and pretty. anyone have an idea what it is?

Are the leaves segmented? Like you would find with a legume?

At this far away it is hard to see the bloom, at this distance they look to be like a wild yellow primrose, but normally primrose has its blooms on the ends of the branching not the internal parts.

I am stumped. Can you get a closer picture of the leaves and the flowers?

I know I've seen it, I'm pretty sure its a weed... but I just can't put my finger on it!? You should try to get a clearer close up photo?!

We have those that grow wild around here. They kind of remind me of primrose, but I'm not sure what it is. Must be a weed if it can grow in Indiana AND Florida!
