What plants NOT to plant

It's remarkable how climate affects what's considered invasive. Tansy, speedwell and morning glories are all highly valued here in gardens, and I've never seen them behave aggressively. Same with what the list of plants you originally posted ducks, those are all fairly sought after garden centre plants. I guess it really is about where you are.

The most truly problematic plant I've had is mint. Very hard to eradicate that once it's planted. Perennial sunflowers really spread, but those too are easy to pull up and in a year you can be fully rid of them. Goutweed is ghastly stuff, another one impossible to be rid of it seems.
