Nice pic, do you have to cover those at all or are they really hardy? I have never heard that song before I liked it.

Collector, for years people have been suggesting to me that I plant spinach for overwintering. Every fall, I just let the moment 
slip away from me . . .
Orache takes care of my poor memory by reseeding itself - it is very enthusiastic about it!
I can collect seeds and sow them a little later so that I have the plants when the lettuce, green onions and radish are ready to harvest for a salad. But, self-sown orache will come on like gang busters first thing in the spring
.
I had to thin that patch in the last picture but orache transplants well, hardly missing a beat. And, no - just like I suppose with spinach - orache needs no winter protection.
