My yard is so full of flowers this time of year. Then not much until late summer early fall. Going to have to fix that! Show me your flowers, please <3

Beautiful flowers. What is the name of the flower in that last photo? I know it, but I just can't seem to remember. I've always wanted to try growing that flower. Starts with a 'T' I think, or an 'S'...

Carol you have outdone yourself! Beautiful! My contribution is a patch of wild Black Eyed Susan’s on the outside of the front gate where the sheep can’t eat them. LOL
We are trying to establish large patches of wild flowers at lot for the bees!

I'm a wee bit late taking photos with some of these, as a couple are almost done. I added a few of my favourite foliages too, since up here we have to appreciate the greenery for awhile longer 'til we get some flowers...;)

@heirloomgal Oh My Goodness. I love the For-get-me-not <3 I have never had luck growing any :( So sweet. I had False Solomon's Seal and Lungwort but when the neighbor cut down the tree on their side of the fence all shade was lost in that part of the yard and sadly they did not survive. Thanks for reminding me how awesome these plants are. I have a spot on the other side of the house I want to plant a shade garden, between a maple tree and house, that will not grow grass, only moss!

I think this was a great thread to start @Carol Dee! I really enjoy the beauty of flowers, and I've not seen a whole lot of threads about them. I guess for the first while since I joined TEG I was in the bean network, but I so appreciate the beautiful flower pictures. I'm so sorry you lost your shade plants to the full sun! I had to have a shade garden because of the orientation of my house, but it's grown on me now. It doesn't grow nearly as many weeds as the full sun gardens, and the plants have been very hardy.

Your peachy pink peony is wonderful. I'm slowly filling up my front perennial garden with more and more peonies, but I haven't seen one like that anywhere. I bought a Karl Rosenfield this week (red one) and I have a very well established Duchesse de Nemours (white) which has a heavenly, unbelievable scent. I also bought Bowl of Beauty (pink & yellow), and one or two others but they are so slow to get well established and bloom well. I'll post photos of them when they bloom in the next week or two.
