I tried an unsuccessful workaround.
One researcher has been working with greenhouse lighting for a few years. Apparently, they were trying to determine if UV would boost certain nutrients. That was not the case. However, they did learn that people liked the flavor of the tomatoes better. I suppose that information has some value.
One comment by a reader had to do with no heirlooms on the "list." That suggests that there were several varieties in the study. Yes, they would have to use the same plants in different settings to test a limited number of variables. There was a picture in one article showing a single greenhouse with interior screens.
