Why is it so hard to find recent past post.?

I wanted to follow up on two recent threads i posted on and can't find them anywhere...One was yesterday or early this morning concerning" using fresh chicken poop in the garden" where did it go? i tried the search, no results found.
Another i wanted to follow up on was
" Befriending honeybees" by that nice older gent(sorry forgot his name)where did that go...? Okay i'm no tech wiz, but i don't have this problem on Backyard Chicken, and the other sister site Survival-Self..what am i doing wrong..?Thanks..Kevin

Right at the bottom of the main page you'll see a little link on the left that is for threads you posted on. Click on that, it will bring up every thread you've responded to or created.
