Why

A client just gave me a phalaenopsis orchid. The flowers have been dyed the most un natural shade of blue! Orchids have such pretty flowers why ruin them?

i love the color blue but you are right and it does look unnatural to see it on an orchid when it is so brilliant. the ones sold at our local Home Depot i saw tonight are already starting to loose their color and starting to grow in white blooms.
