What should I plant in a small chicken garden for the winter?

I have a 2' X 7' row in our new aviary addition as well as another 2' X 11' row. The plan is to plant them with things our chickens can graze on. The planted areas are tented with chicken wire, so they can't get to the dirt/roots or base of the plants.

both rows have about the best sun exposure we have all winter long

I plant winter kale and swiss chard from seeds which my chickens just love. If you are in an area where you can grow winter brococoli, they go crazy for the leaves and if the plants bolt for any reason, I just pull them up and my chickens get the whole thing.

I plant in my garden area which is not accessible to my chickens so they only get the kale or chard when I give it to them. If they had free access, I am afraid all the goodies would be gone very quickly. My chickens have no restraint.......
