I'm pumped look at what I found! http://www.everwilde.com/store/Calypso-Pickling-Cucumber-Seeds.html yes its a hybrid but I found my little cukes! We made a bunch of big ones last year and they were a big hit so I wanted to find a little cucumber variety to make little pickles with and I finally found them. I had to post this because everybody else would think I'm nuts that I'm this excited about little cucumbers. :p

Last year I was picking my regular picking cukes as small as I dared but this year I'm excited that these little cukes will stay little cukes and I'm not sacrificing my regular picking cukes

Thanks, the crazy thing was I kept getting the Gherkin fruit which is different than the miniature pickles I've been looking for. I finally stumbled onto the variety "Calypso" and then all the sudden it was like a flood gate opened. I can't wait to make a batch of little hot pickles!!!

You just piqued my curiosity Jared, what is the difference between a gherkin and miniature cuke?

Gherkin doesn't just indicate size I take it. ??

The gherkin is a fruit similar in form and nutritional value to a cucumber. Gherkins and cucumbers belong to the same species (Cucumis sativus), but are from different cultivar groups.
They are usually picked when 4 to 8 cm (1 to 3 in) in length and pickled in jars or cans with vinegar (often flavored with herbs, particularly dill; hence, "dill pickle") or brine to resemble a pickled cucumber. Most gherkins used in the United States are made into the sweet variety.
