The fruits seem fine, but the stalks of the leaves have white mold on them... like they are rotting. Is this due to the excessive rain we've had? Can I cut a few leaves out to let the sun get to the bottom of the stalks to prevent any more mold growth?

Sorry Sparkles, I haven't ever seen any thing like this on my squash. If you have had a lot of rain/humid conditions lately, that could be a cause. I associate moisture/humidity with mold growth.

However, if the fruits seem to be fine...well maybe it's not really a problem? Is it possible that these are just older leaves that are dieing off or is it on new growth as well? Sorry I can't be much help. Maybe someone else will chime in with better info. :)
