Yellow Potato Onions

I have good luck planting my GMs in the Fall; in the house, I can have storage issues (or forget and eat them!) so that is my safety. I was out looking at the potato onions, shallots and garlic today. Pretty much everything sprouted in Nov and looks good!

Saw a mosquito (bad) and a great horned owl on its nest (great!) today. Spring is coming!

Now that the garden is nearly snow and ice free I spotted tiny garlic -- planted last fall -- stems peeking up through the soil.
