Anyone ever herd of an herb with a name like this?

Hi,

In Spanish Yerba means 'Weed'. It is often used as a term for Marijuana amongst the border folk.

Buena is a female connotation of 'Good'; Bueno is the male connotation of the same meaning.

So, Yerba Buena means 'Good Weed'. So this may denote any number of weeds.
