I canned some zucchini dill slices with Ball Koisher Dill Mix. Not half bad. Then I thought I am going to fry them just like the fried Dill Pickles. Yum. To me they taste better than the pickles.

How big were the ones you sliced for pickles? I make what I call "garbage" pickles which is the left over veggies (cukes, broc, caulif, carrots zuchs, squash) and make pickle mix using that same mix.

They were probably 6 to 7 inches long. The seeds were still small enough that I didn't have to cut them out. They are so good rolled in a Kentucky Kernal flour and fried.
If you like fried dill pickles you should like these as much if not better.

It is a flour that has several different seasonings in it. Hodgson Mills makes it. You can google it and it will tell you all about it. We use it on so many things.
