@Smart Red, no story really. We used to get a fair amount of camping in every year, especially when the boys were little, but every year it seems like we're more tied down or something and we do less and less.

The first time we found this spot we loved it and promised to make it back every year to watch the stars.
It's just an overnighter and we pack light and simple. I refuse to cook, so we just boil water for cocoa and eat finger foods.

I'm pretty sure there wouldn't have been much sleeping going on, for me, if wolves and bears roam the area. And Sasquatch. And porcupines, and foxes, and skunks, and squirrels, and and....
so lucky, I'm glad that you clariied your statement about not much sleeping going on. :oops:

thistle, that would have been too cold for me to enjoy! I would still be freezing even with all those clothes you had on.
