Fall clean up

I am slowly destroying my garden, pulling up the beds, stacking the bricks, getting ready to move. My new garden spot is waist deep in weeds, has sand for soil and needs a lot of TLC. Haven't got started on it yet, will have to finish destroying this one.

Yeah, time to start the dreaded clean up. I have foddershocks to make and sunflower stalks to cut out. Been removing beans and poles all week and some brown flowers. I never get things cleared out in time to put in a winter cover crop for the garden soil most times, so I think I'll just mulch it over with more straw or grass clippings this time. It erodes a lot if I don't.

@journey11 , I understand about the winter cover crop. Monty seems to loose track of time also. I have not even begun to clear out my flowers yet..... but that is my plan for today.
