The roots were growing in the wraping before we had a chance to plant them. they must be real hardy plants. :frow

Horse radish is probably as close to unkillable as any plant can get. I planted mine in an out of the way corner and just pretty much ignored it. Don't forget that the greens are excellent . They taste like a spicy mustard green.

New to this site but not gardening but have never planted horseradish. What do you use it for? Is it a spice you use a lot of? I am all for easy to grow and if I can process it in Jan that would be great!
