Monty, are you spraying for huffalumps before planting? Ya gotta make sure there are no huffalumps in the soil. They will spoil your fairy sprout.
Is there a black market for huffalumpacide? I tried Disney. They turned me in to the FPA (Fairy Protection Agency) :( Appearantly you have to be a licensed fairy farmer to plant seeds :idunno

On the more serious side, I may plant one of these for the grand daughter. She would get a kick out of it.

OK, I need help. I have planted fairies three times now. Half of them come up feet first and die immediately. The other half die because their wings get stuck in the dirt and wrap around their little heads. What is the proper seed orientation when planting fairies??? My gnomes all came up fine. But when they saw the fairies sprouting, they became disgruntled and left. I think I heard one of them mention Atlantic City :/
Hahahahaha

A few weeks ago I started a new Fairy house.. My old one was destroyed a few years ago in a storm, that uprooted it's tree.

Here it is before the storm... I pretended it was for Miss Mouse. Sort of a Wind in the Willows type of Miss Mouse.

This is the one I am working on now... It is far from finished!

I will be adding a well, and hopefully some twig outdoor furniture.

I love this Gazebo

Those are very charming, Rebbetzin! I love the look of the natural materials, just as if the fairy found everything and built it herself. :happy_flower

Rebbetzin - LOVE THEM!!! How creative. I wasn't real keen on the decorated pots (they are VERY cute but that sort of thing never lasts long at my house) but this ...... ohhhhhh, this I could do in the little wooded area near my coop. :D

My plan was to make a sort of "thatched roof" with pine needles... But.... I really under estimated the skill it would time to make a thatched roof!! I love the look of them, but cutting the pine needles, and making them stay put is a whole other kettle of fish!! I now have decided to use some Mesquite Bark on the roof of the porch area.

I am looking for materials to make the well. I will use concrete and small stones, for the base, and I found a top for the well at Hobby Lobby.

They have a great selection of minatures. I will recover the top with segments from a pine cone. I need some kind of square something or other as a form for the base of the well.

I may have to hit up the local craft store and see what I can come across :) I bet the wee one would love to pick out some additional little fun design pieces. I would like to find a tiny bird house on a post! lol
