Wandering around the site I found a page of members and "Todays Birthdays".

So, today is Jos birthday, and if she joins us and reads this, I hope she had a lovely one!

I can't find any of that...other than the word "members" in a green menu bar, which then breaks down to "notable members", "current visitors" and "recent activity". Am I anywhere near the right place? I see no black bar at all.

I think she meant the green bar. It is dark green and probably some monitors make it look black.

On that page of notable members, the right side, near the top but down a little, is an icon looking thing that is light grey with an almost white female sign. I suppose it could be a male sign some days. It is somewhat camouflaged with low contrast.

Oh, look at that! It Is green! My little monitor has to be at the perfect angle to see colors distinctly.

Well Thistle, I'm glad you finally see that! I get so confused so easily. I don't need to start seeing different colors.

Is there a way to get the old grinning smiley back? I don't like this green one. He looks a little sick.

Journey, did you find it yet? So Lucky was having trouble making her avatar, there is a topic thread about it, and some of us discovered that the cause of some troubles finding things is that if a monitor is ZOOMED IN it makes it so that the right side of the page needs to be scrolled over to find the stuff there.

If that's the case, try reducing your zoom. Might have to use the handy dandy reading glasses for a few minutes. (I sure do).

Reducing the zoom is the simple fix, but there is a more conglomerated thing too. They call it "screen resolution".
If changing the zoom setting down only fixes some of the things, your screen resolution might be set not quite right. But don't worry too much about that right away, and it'd just be a bunch of blaa blaa if I type a lot about it and it isn't the problem, lolllZ!

If it's screen resolution, we can make a separate topic for that.
