Yesterday, I dehydrated cherry tomatoes. I think it was 9 hours and I took them off the liners and they break, they look done, no gooey or soft, but sticky and sticky on the liners and my brother thought the liners were glued to the trays and glue coming off and I said, no that is cherry tomatoes. I put them in a plastic bag when I took them off the tray. I read you can test to see if any moisture that way, condensation on the bag and there was none. I put them in a bowl for the night and now getting ready to put in jars. I noticed some are sticky. They are dry feeling, break, but sticky. Are they dry?
Adding- I read they should not have a "tacky texture." I decided to put them back in. The book says 155F. They fit on 4 trays instead of 9 now. Some blew around like paper. I will check in an hour.
