Grapes Galore

At the commercial grape vineyards ( thousands of acres of Thomson's seedless grapes) in Cal., the crews cut off the grape clusters and place them on sheets of brown paper ( called trays) right on the ground. Leave them to dry out in the sun for about a week or two, then roll up the grapes now raisins in the brown paper and into bins which are then shipped to a processing plant for packaging.
