Red didn't I read somewhere it took you 20 to decide on those curtins ?? Good for you, change is good i do it all the time. About twice a year I will pull everything out of a room, wash or paint the walls then put everything back differnt. Much cheaper then buying new furniture.

That's me, Bay! Always living right on the edge. Ya, right!

Even this probably wouldn't be possible if it weren't for winter. DH is so tired of being confined inside, that doing anything -- like redoing the wall colors -- is better than doing nothing.

No, these curtains were the first ones I saw that I liked. It took me 20 years to decide I wasn't going to find something I liked better. (No curtains isn't a problem in the sticks.)

I am also one who doesn't feel the room is really clean unless I move everything around for a different look. I've never been averse to change. I just think change should be for a good reason. My good reason is that I can involve DH in creating something new and different in our space.

I rearrange furniture about once every TEN or TWELVE years! If it works why change it. My ex-DIL moved her furniture almost weekly! So when I did rearrange she got EXCITED> LOL Paint wall? Yeah right, remember I am married to a painter. Last thing he wants to do in his off time is to paint. And heaven only knows I do it WRONG. (Besides ladders and I do NOT get along.)

Carol my parents where like that, almost like furniture grew roots. Think their livingroom the same past 30 years. Even wallpapper the same, I guess thats why I like change.

Now, upon the great advice of the gardeners on TEG, I am looking for lighting. I don't want silver or black. I do want downward lighting (hate bugs in the fixtures). Anyone have a good idea for lighting fixtures? I still intend to check the second hand shops, but I am also looking online here -- thirty-five pages of possibilities.

As always, cheaper is better than expensive. I have quality taste with pauper pocketbook.
