2 Feet of Snow and I Bought Peonies

I had to pick up some supplies at big box store. Right when you walk in the door where spring bulbs and seeds. I was just going to look, needing some hope for spring, knew its to early here for planting. Bag of 3 peonies where calling my name. Buying them made me feel spring will be comng soon.

I planted a coral color one last summer. It struggled and was almost gone by frost. I wonder if it survived the winter. I sure hope so. Glad to hear you still have a glimmer of hope to see green growing SPRING again!

I have a stunning yellow that I got from White's. It took a long time to bloom but is worth the wait. I have it posted here somewhere.

I just got a whole bunch of glads!

Gladiolas should multiply each year. In this soil ... they dwindle ... even lifted and carried downstairs every autumn. Probably, I should have a special little nursery for tiny corms.

That's called hope!!!! I love, love, love both the dark and light pink peonies. I think they smell like Dove soap, which reminds me of my grandma's house...she always used pink Dove soap. And she had a whole row of peonies too. That flower brings back good, good memories!
