Good to see you again Jeni Ann. It seems like a while since you've posted and I was a bit worried.

Yes, @Nyboy, guineas would be a great treat right next to the neighbors IF I could think of a way to keep them from visiting the neighbors and becoming fair game. I believe I could keep the guineas on my 30 acres with a little planning and a bit of training, but that would be on the west side of our land. I fear the neighbors to the east are too close to expect birds to honor a boundary that the neighbors can't even agree upon.

I have found a tick attached to DW's head and another one crawling on her t shirt. I have also pulled ticks off two out of three dogs we own. The dogs have been treated for ticks, the people have not. Hopefully we won't get anymore of them on us.
