I'm so glad the weather was nice yesterday (hope yours was up there too!) We even had a nice breeze going!

@journey11 Yes she is with our local High School Band. This is her first year. She tried out last year but didn't make it, this year they didn't cut anyone. She is so excited!!! I asked her yesterday if she was going to give up yet she said no way I'm having a blast! She is the only one out of our 4 girls that even thought about joining the band. She tried the trumpet in the 5th grade but didn't like it. I figured once she hit High School she would go for this kind of thing.
Our weather was beautiful yesterday and today it is even nicer!

our son was in the marching band all through high school, just graduated college with a music degree almost making the same as me....very proud of him.

@majorcatfish it is always good to hear about someone doing well in the arts.

Our band director wants to take the kids down to Morgantown WVU one day to let them see how the college does things. I'm excited and really hope he gets approval threw the Board Of Education to do that.

What instrument does she play now? My mom played the clarinet in band. She really hopes one of her grandkids will turn out to be musical, since none of us were.

@journey11 no instrument she twirls a flag for the color guard.

My parents wanted us to take up drawing and painting much quieter.

@Nyboy , that really cracks me up!

My oldest is artistic. The youngest is just...messy. Not sure where her talents lie yet.
