what a wonderful bread a bit soft right out of the oven the ripe kiwi has an great pineapple flavor to it..
going to make great christmas presents..
the only thing we changed was instead of a cup of kiws we did 1 1/2 cups

would recommend soft butter.. i know there goes your triglycerides.. damn it's worth it

I just had some of the last slices of DW's carrot bread. It's a yeast bread and adding cooked carrots just makes it real moist and soft. And, a pretty color ...

The 2nd baking of carrot "cakes" were finished last week .

I will make the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Bread for gifts! It is totally a dessert bread but one of the few things that I've found that Jack o-lantern pumpkins are good for. Also, the pumpkin latte cookies that I'd wanted to make for Thanksgiving -- I'm determined to make a batch, this week! I hope they are good but ... I still haven't remembered to buy the dang cardamom when I've been at the store! Well, I remembered yesterday but that super market didn't have it. Maybe I'll just substitute coriander .

Steve, I would just leave it out. I don't think I would use coriander.

Because of your posts on Kiwi, I have been craving them. Package of 6 was $4.99,taste like cardboard. Glad I didn't spend the $8.99 a pound cherries, quick look, they where all wrinkled.

actually we gave away little more than half of them,i take 4-5 every day to work made bread,jelly. starting to see the end shortly been tossing a few every day.
need another refrigerator to store everything in... have to talk with the boss see if he will sell one thats sitting in a storage trailer...
