Kale from the garden, not in but along side, a bowl of noodles. Nothing in that noodle bowl is from the garden. Shucks.
We may have jumped the gun a little because it nearly whittles the kale stems down to having zero leaves and no buds yet. The leaves were incredibly tender and mild!
It would have been appropriate if there was some galanga in the noodles, since I mentioned them this morning in @ducks4you 's thread but there were none in the cabinet
. A package of beef was found in the fridge.
