I have to have tomatoes on my sandwich and salads. Love a good BLT. What is your favorite tasting raw tomato ? The ones I buy in supermarket always taste like cardboard, no matter how red.

Celebrity was my choice until I started growing heirlooms, now I have to say it's hard to beat Cherokee Purple, some of them are downright ugly to look at but you can't beat the flavor. I gave a couple of plants to a neighbor, when he tried getting his wife to try a piece she said there's no way in h*ll I'm eating that, he persisted and finally she took a bite, I'm sure just to shut him up:). Lo and behold, she insists he grow them every year now, it's become her favorite.

It may be something psychological because I'm not willing to grow them for ~ maybe ~ one fruit to ripen the last week of the growing season but ... I had Kellogg's Breakfast twice in the garden. I thought they were delicious!

They are an orange and may not be what you are looking for in a BLT sandwich tomato. Pantano Romanesco is full of flavor! And, it's red ... but, late.

I've never eaten a Pink Brandywine but Red Brandywine OTV is great. It's supposed to be a little earlier than its sisters.

I though @marshallsmyth 's Amy Sue was an outstanding big pink! Last year was an unusually hot one so I don't know how it would perform in a cooler, short season. Marshall made a cross between Marianna's Peace with Giant Syrian. I have Marianna's Peace to grow with Amy Sue and compare in 2016.

For an earlier red beefsteak, I have been happy growing and eating Big Beef nearly as long as it has been available. I notice that it is popular with a lot of gardeners.

And I will agree with @so lucky you will not find a tomato at eh supermarket with good flavor or texture compared to garden grown and fresh from the vine.
