There has been all that noise about the Californians for all the decades I have been here! Born in CA, raised in Oregon but moved here after another brief stay in Cali ...

Mom loved to ask the locals where they were from, after they complained to her about the Californians. She loved California and lived there as young person! After the "locals" told her that they were from the upper Midwest, Mom also loved to inform them that she was born here (wow, almost 100 years ago, now ~ miss you Mom! )
